Senior Supervisor – Operations

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Operations to lead piping installation and erection activities on a large‑scale onshore EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising contractor teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and driving safety and quality performance on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all piping installation and erection for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring work follows approved IFC drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate piping activities with civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning teams.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor teams, ensuring availability of manpower, tools, equipment and materials.
• Monitor welding, hydrostatic, pneumatic testing, flushing and air‑blowing operations, verifying compliance with WPS/PQR and project specifications.
• Enforce HSE requirements, conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections and risk assessments, and stop unsafe work immediately.
• Lead QA/QC inspections, maintain inspection records, and verify punch‑list closure for pre‑commissioning and commissioning readiness.

Required profile

• Significant on‑site experience on mega EPC projects, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proven supervisory experience managing large contractor and subcontractor teams.
• Strong knowledge of piping construction standards, HSE regulations and QA/QC processes.
