Senior System Administrator

About the role

Fakeeh Health, a healthcare group based in the UAE, is looking for a Senior System Administrator in Dubai. The role designs, plans, implements and maintains mission-critical enterprise systems, acting as a technical expert who recommends system redesigns and leads projects to deliver high-quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the day-to-day operations of Fakeeh host servers, monitoring performance, configuration, maintenance and repair across all entities
• Develop system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures
• Monitor system and network performance and availability, and plan, test and implement upgrades
• Integrate new software applications and deploy them efficiently across the business
• Supervise system administrators and coordinate with different entities
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
• Develop backup and disaster recovery procedures, and security procedures against unauthorized use, natural disasters and user abuse
• Create tools, procedures and training for Operations, Client Support and Systems Development staff
• Install, configure and maintain servers and data storage systems, and mentor team members

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in system administration or a related role
• Background in community engagement or corporate social responsibility (CSR) is valued
