Senior System Analyst

About the role

The Senior System Analyst will bridge business needs and technology solutions across DP World’s Ports & Terminals operations. Working closely with operations teams, vendors and internal IT, you will design, develop and maintain reliable, scalable applications that support core terminal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and operational requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Produce high‑level designs, obtain approvals and create detailed technical specification documents.
• Guide System Analysts in drafting Software Requirements Specifications from Business Requirements.
• Ensure IT standards, security controls and SDLC best practices are applied throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support solution delivery, including vendor coordination, testing, documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Provide post‑go‑live application support, perform root‑cause analysis and monitor system performance.
• Identify and recommend automation and integration opportunities between Terminal Operating Systems, gate systems, equipment systems and third‑party platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in systems analysis, solution design and application support.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex technical projects.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity and information‑security standards.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and guiding design reviews.
