Senior Systems & Cloud Specialist

About the role

The Senior Systems & Cloud Specialist will define and execute ENEC’s cloud strategy, designing, implementing and optimizing both on‑premises and cloud‑based infrastructures. The role ensures secure, scalable, high‑performance solutions while supporting the organization’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and technical implementation of infrastructure and cloud projects, focusing on performance, scalability and cost‑efficiency.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve flexibility and availability.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud operations, upgrades and best practices.
• Plan, schedule and execute maintenance activities and approved infrastructure changes.
• Leverage automation tools for performance monitoring and operational streamlining.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, delivering improvement recommendations.
• Support virtual server lifecycle, cloud architecture design and infrastructure optimisation.
• Define technical requirements, system topology and architecture aligned with business needs.
• Evaluate vendor solutions for technical compliance.
• Develop and manage budgets for modernization, operations and maintenance.
• Maintain roadmaps for infrastructure, applications and cloud journeys.
• Enforce change and incident management processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs and as‑built records.
• Monitor and report KPIs, system health, incidents and outages to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale infrastructure and cloud initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on capacity planning and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively across IT teams and with external vendors.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
