Senior Technical Manager – Civil Construction

About the role

Meraki Integrated Contracting is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead civil and structural engineering activities across multiple high‑rise projects in Dubai. The role focuses on technical document control, compliance, and coordination with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely, quality‑driven delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review and comment on pre‑qualification documents, material submittals, shop drawings, design calculations and method statements.
• Manage engineering submission, material, shop‑drawing, RFI and rebar call‑off logs against the approved baseline programme.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, QS/commercial, procurement, QA/QC and MEP teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Prepare technical packages for procurement, evaluate supplier capabilities and support techno‑commercial tender reviews.
• Provide value‑engineering alternatives and innovative solutions to reduce cost and construction duration.
• Lead the technical team, conduct regular coordination meetings and monitor KPI, submission status and pending actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred).
• 10‑15 years of experience in commercial, residential or mixed‑use mid‑rise/high‑rise projects, with at least 8 years in the UAE.
• Current experience as a Technical Manager, leading a team of 4‑5 technical staff.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, DDA, DCD, RTA).
