Senior Technical Manager – Civil Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead technical office functions for major building projects across the UAE. The role involves coordinating design, ensuring compliance with authority requirements, and delivering high‑quality engineering solutions for complex, high‑rise, mixed‑use and villa developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Office team across multiple projects.
• Review tender documents and IFC drawings to guarantee full technical compliance.
• Oversee preparation and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain document control systems and engineering logs.
• Support value engineering and cost optimisation during the design phase.
• Monitor engineering progress and report to senior management.
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve design‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 12–15 years of construction experience, with mandatory UAE exposure.
• Proven experience as a Technical Manager or Senior Technical Office Engineer.
• Strong background in high‑rise residential, mixed‑use and villa projects.
• Experience with main contractors in the UAE and exposure to fit‑out, façade and high‑end finishes.
