Senior Technology GRC Specialist

About the role

The Senior Technology GRC Specialist will lead the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) function for the organisation's technology landscape. You will design and maintain GRC frameworks, conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of risk awareness across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve comprehensive GRC frameworks and policies.
• Align GRC initiatives with organisational goals and keep policies up‑to‑date with regulatory changes.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, maintain a risk register and devise mitigation strategies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk management actions and report findings to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through audits and assessments.
• Develop, implement and maintain security policies, respond to incidents and lead root‑cause analyses.
• Design and deliver GRC training programs and awareness workshops for staff.
• Create and maintain GRC dashboards, metrics and regular reporting for continuous monitoring.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in governance, risk and compliance within a technology environment.
• Proven ability to develop and manage GRC frameworks and policies.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Experience conducting audits, regulatory compliance checks and security incident handling.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and deliver training.
