Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer to join Surbana Jurong’s Abu Dhabi office. The role involves leading the design and delivery of roads, highways, junctions and related civil infrastructure, collaborating closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, including road alignments and junction layouts.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Attend client meetings, support technical reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10‑16 years of experience in transport and roads design, with at least 5 years on UAE projects.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
• DMT registration preferred and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
