Senior UX/UI Designer – On-site in Dubai (9‑month contract)

About the role

Octopus by RTG is looking for a senior Experience Designer to lead the creation of cutting‑edge digital products for a key partner. The role is on‑site in Dubai and runs for nine months, offering the chance to shape design systems and work closely with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define intuitive interaction patterns, navigation models and responsive visual systems across web and mobile platforms.
• Build, document and maintain a scalable design system in Figma, including grids, typography, colors and components.
• Prepare clean, annotated design files and collaborate with front‑end developers to ensure pixel‑perfect implementation.
• Participate in QA, design reviews and handoff processes, using design tokens and component specifications to streamline development.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, HCI or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years designing digital products with strong UX, UI and design‑system expertise.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on while thinking strategically about consistency and efficiency.

• Version control, documentation tools (Zeroheight, JIRA, Zeplin, Storybook)
