Senior Vertical Transportation Engineer - Design

About the role

Azizi Developments is seeking a Senior Vertical Transportation Engineer to lead VT design and coordination for high‑rise, hospitality, retail and other major projects. Based in the Al Hudaiba Design Studio, you will report to the Head of MEP and work across all project stages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead VT design, preparation and review of drawings, schedules, specifications and traffic analyses.
• Coordinate with internal design teams, external consultants, manufacturers, contractors and vendors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, code‑compliance statements and design‑stage reports.
• Support RFI resolution, provide technical input during construction and oversee site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Review and recommend VT vendors, assist with vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with Dubai/UAE authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in vertical transportation engineering for high‑rise, hotel and mall developments.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai/UAE authority requirements and design processes.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
