Senior Vertical Transportation Engineer - Design

About the role

Azizi, a leading Dubai‑based developer, is seeking a Senior Vertical Transportation Engineer to join its Design Studio in Al Hudaiba. Reporting to the Head of MEP, you will lead the design, coordination and technical review of VT systems for high‑rise, hospitality, retail and other major projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead VT design and coordination across all project stages, preparing drawings, schedules, specifications and traffic analysis.
• Review external consultant designs, technical submissions and vendor proposals, and support RFI resolution during construction.
• Conduct feasibility studies, code compliance statements and design‑stage reports, and oversee site inspections, testing and commissioning as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Vertical Transportation Engineering on high‑rise, hotel, mall and large‑scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai/UAE authority requirements, design processes and ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Expertise in VT design, lift planning and passenger traffic analysis.
• Proficiency with ELEVATE, AutoCAD/CADD, BIM and Revit.
