Senior Vice President Asset Management (Retail)

About the role

The Senior Vice President of Asset Management (Retail) will lead the execution of the retail strategy for both owned and third‑party assets in Abu Dhabi. The role holds full P&L responsibility, ensuring financial targets are met through effective rent pricing, tenant mix and other strategic levers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of the Retail Management Strategy across assigned retail assets.
• Prepare detailed P&L statements for each asset and consolidate financials for senior review.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analysis (IRR, ROI, ROE) on under‑performing assets and potential acquisitions to support go/no‑go decisions.
• Manage delivery of assets in the growth pipeline, including new development and transformation projects.
• Analyse market trends to identify investment opportunities and drive growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Property Management to track monthly operational and financial targets and recommend mitigation actions.
• Provide input on rent pricing, leasing strategy and tenant mix to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience managing retail asset properties with annual revenue exceeding AED 1 billion.
• At least 4 years in a senior managerial position within retail management (malls or community retail).
• Strong exposure to the GCC real‑estate market and experience in property management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or economics.
