Senior Vice President – Compensation & Benefits

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Compensation & Benefits will act as the custodian of Aldar's group compensation and benefits frameworks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with local regulations. This senior leader will drive market‑based benchmarking, oversee short‑ and long‑term incentive programs, and guide senior leadership on reward strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
• Manage the group compensation structure, including periodic amendments and compliance with the Delegation of Authority.
• Lead design, implementation, and administration of STI and LTI programs, ensuring proper share liquidation.
• Conduct market research and benchmark pay philosophy against peer groups.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on salary structures, pay equity, and executive compensation.
• Oversee the annual rewards cycle, including nominations, forced distribution, and budget allocation.
• Negotiate with third‑party providers to enhance benefit plans and resolve issues.
• Monitor staff cost budgeting, analyze spend versus budget, and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably within consulting or real‑estate sectors.
• At least 4 years of managerial experience leading C&B functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or human resources.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong financial data analysis capabilities.
• Proven implementation of compensation & benefits initiatives.
