Senior Vice President – Project Management

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Project Management will lead delivery of large-scale property and infrastructure developments for Aldar in Abu Dhabi, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver developments within approved budgets, timelines and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate contractors and PMC, monitor performance, conduct regular site visits and meetings.
• Refine feasibility plans, track progress with Project Control and produce status reports.
• Work with Procurement to secure contracts and support project scoping.
• Identify schedule or budget deviations, assess risks and define mitigation actions with Planning & Control.
• Resolve design issues, manage change orders and ensure required permits are obtained.
• Oversee constructability, maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
• Manage final handover to asset operators and lead project close-out activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in senior oversight of multi‑billion‑AED developments.
• At least 4 years in a managerial role leading teams of 5 or more.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture or equivalent; MBA, PMP or postgraduate technical degree preferred.
• Proven track record in GCC real‑estate market and large‑scale construction.
