Senior Waiter/ess for Lah Lah Service

About the role

The Lah Lah outlet at Zabeel House The Greens is seeking an experienced Senior Waiter/ess to deliver warm, attentive service in a vibrant, upscale dining environment. You will be the face of the restaurant, guiding guests through their dining experience and ensuring every detail meets Jumeirah’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables and explain seating arrangements.
• Present menu items, describe preparation methods, ingredients and address allergy or dietary queries.
• Promote daily specials and off‑menu promotions, ensuring guests are aware of all options.
• Verify guest identification for alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, note special requests and communicate them promptly to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve dishes using appropriate techniques, maintaining established service standards.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of Food & Beverage service experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel or premium dining venue.
• Strong knowledge of service standards, menu offerings and food preparation methods.
• Proven ability to recommend, upsell and handle guest feedback while maintaining high satisfaction.
• Capability to manage a designated service section and coordinate smoothly with kitchen and bar staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on hygiene, safety and service protocol compliance.
