Senior/Mid-Level BIM & CAD Technician

About the role

Parsons is seeking experienced BIM and CAD Technicians to support its UAE projects. You will work closely with the BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure design compliance, timely delivery, and high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BIM Lead, Design Leads and Engineers to produce engineering drawings, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics and component details.
• Manage BIM‑related activities from project start‑up to completion across utilities, roads, structures, drainage and MEP disciplines.
• Review drawings for readability, presentation and adherence to company QA/QC standards.
• Create parametric and non‑parametric families, applying LOD requirements.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks, generate clash reports and coordinate multidisciplinary models.
• Extract quantities and generate schedules from the BIM model.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience, with prior MEA/UAE project exposure.
• Proven experience in CAD drafting for utilities, wet utilities, roads, structures and drainage systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
