SEO Manager

About the role

We are looking for an SEO/SEM expert to manage all search engine optimisation and marketing activities. You will lead content strategy, link‑building and keyword work to boost rankings on major search networks, and run SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing to maximise ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Execute tests, collect and analyse data, and identify trends to achieve maximum ROI in paid‑search campaigns.
• Track, report and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives.
• Manage campaign budgets, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies.
• Optimise copy and landing pages for search‑engine marketing.
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation.
• Develop and implement link‑building strategies.
• Collaborate with development, editorial and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied.
• Recommend changes to site architecture, content and linking to improve rankings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO and SEM, managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition.
• Hands‑on experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture and WebTrends.
• Experience with bid‑management platforms like Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo and Search Ignite.
• Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript constraints.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of ranking factors, search‑engine algorithms and SEO/SEM best practices.
• BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test‑driven field.
