Service Advisor – Truck Division

About the role

As a Service Advisor in the Truck Division of FAMCO, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, documenting service requests, explaining jobs, and preparing job cards. You will coordinate with the workshop to ensure timely completion while meeting service and sales revenue targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, record their requests, and collect accurate symptom details for quick resolution.
• Prepare and manage repair orders, provide cost estimates, and set realistic delivery times.
• Coordinate with workshop foremen to keep promised delivery times and ensure invoices match performed work.
• Deliver vehicles personally, explain invoices, and arrange pick‑up times with customers.
• Achieve service revenue targets by promoting value‑added services and managing overdue accounts.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years experience in an automotive dealership, at least 3 years as a Service Advisor, preferably with trucks/commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive dealer/distributor processes and ERP/SAP systems.
• Excellent communication, logical thinking, and technical understanding.
