Service Coordinator - Home Appliances

About the role

A manufacturer of home appliances is looking for a Service Coordinator to oversee and optimise service operations across the United Arab Emirates. The role coordinates field technicians, manages customer interactions and ensures service requests are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily service schedules and dispatch field technicians for on-site repairs of home appliances
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, booking appointments and giving status updates
• Monitor service metrics and keep accurate records of work orders, parts usage and service reports
• Work with technical teams to troubleshoot complex issues and escalate when needed
• Keep customers, technicians and internal stakeholders aligned so service is delivered on time
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Help train and mentor new team members on coordination protocols and customer engagement

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in service coordination or service operations in the home appliance industry
• Technical knowledge of home appliance systems, repair procedures and parts management
• Proven customer service skills, including handling escalations diplomatically
• Strong team coordination and organisation to manage several service requests at once
• Excellent verbal and written English; Arabic is a plus
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, experience with ozone technology or similar appliances, process improvement track record, customer service certification (e.g. ITIL), and knowledge of UAE appliance servicing regulations and safety standards
