Service Engineer – Fire Alarm System Programming

About the role

The client, a leading fire protection company, is looking for a Service Engineer specialized in Fire Alarm System Programming. The role focuses on programming, preventive and corrective maintenance, testing and commissioning of Simplex fire alarm systems while ensuring compliance with service agreements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Program, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Simplex fire alarm systems.
• Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on customer installations.
• Test, commission and verify fire alarm systems according to project specifications.
• Monitor graphic stations for alarms, error messages and system alerts.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests and meet SLAs.
• Maintain accurate project records, service reports and equipment performance logs.
• Report recurring technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure compliance with company procedures, local regulations and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in fire alarm system programming and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Simplex fire alarm system programming.
• Ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach to technical issues.
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills and proficiency in English.
