Service Onboarding & Acceptance Engineer

About the role

The Service Onboarding & Acceptance Engineer is responsible for evaluating, onboarding, and ensuring compliance of new network solutions across the organization. This role bridges the gap between design, testing, and operational deployment while managing risk and security aspects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute evaluation and onboarding activities for all new network solutions according to the annual plan.
• Participate in RFP processes, design reviews, development, and lab testing to ensure proper evaluation.
• Provide regular progress reports to Network Operations and act as a liaison during acceptance processes.
• Negotiate with key partners when required and maintain up‑to‑date processes to minimise outage risk and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal governance requirements.
• Define service standards and SLAs aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate and support security risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and IT/telecom risk management.
• Oversee software patching compliance for telecom network systems.
• Serve as the single point of contact for internal audit observations and support audit tracking and follow‑up.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in telecommunications or high‑tech industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Network Engineering, IT or equivalent telecom discipline.
• Proven ability to lead large transformation projects and strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, teamwork and negotiation skills.
