Sharkah Program Coordinator – Office of Enrollment Management

About the role

The Sharakah Program Coordinator will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Sharakah initiative at the American University of Sharjah. Reporting to the Office of Enrollment Management, the coordinator acts as the primary liaison between the university and partner schools, driving student engagement, outreach, and recruitment activities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate all aspects of the Sharakah Program, including school visits, workshops, competitions, fairs, and scholarship events.
• Develop and nurture relationships with partner school principals, counselors, and administrators.
• Plan logistics for program‑related events and ensure seamless collaboration with internal university departments.
• Manage communications, invitations, and follow‑ups with schools and participants.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, activities, participation rates, and student leads.
• Prepare regular reports, statistics, and updates for senior management.
• Support procurement, invoicing, and the creation of promotional materials.
• Identify opportunities to expand the program’s reach and impact.
• Undertake special projects and related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within an academic institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
• Proven interpersonal skills for building relationships with students, parents, schools, and university staff.
