Sheet Metal Engineer – Jakarta Recruitment Event

About the role

This position is linked to Air Arabia’s invitation‑only Engineering Recruitment Event in Jakarta, Indonesia, scheduled for the first week of September 2026. The successful candidate will perform, supervise, and certify structural maintenance tasks on airline and third‑party aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory and airline standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled aircraft structure maintenance, including inspections, testing, repairs, and replacements.
• Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) for completed structural work after verification against regulatory and organizational standards.
• Review work instructions, task cards, and maintenance schedules to plan and allocate shop activities efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to certifying technicians and shop technicians.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring defects, and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering and Quality Assurance.
• Record all maintenance actions, defect findings, and parts usage accurately in the maintenance system.
• Ensure availability and readiness of shop stock, tools, and equipment in line with operational demands.

Required profile

• Available to attend the Jakarta recruitment event during the first week of September 2026, subject to shortlisting and invitation.
• Qualified to perform and certify aircraft structural maintenance in accordance with approved standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to supervise shop activities and ensure airworthiness of serviced aircraft structures.
