SHEQ Manager – Projects

About the role

Mammoet, a global leader in heavy lifting and transportation, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead safety, health, environment and quality initiatives on a high‑profile ADNOC project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. You will be the key driver of SHEQ compliance, culture and continuous improvement across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific SHEQ documents, procedures and requirements.
• Advise and support the project team to meet Mammoet, legal and contractual SHEQ objectives.
• Oversee all SHEQ aspects of Mammoet operations on the site and ensure a positive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation, client specifications and corporate standards.
• Liaise with client, end‑user and regulatory bodies on all SHEQ matters.
• Prepare and submit regular SHEQ reports to regional and corporate management.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or diploma.
• Relevant certifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum 10 years of SHEQ experience, including project‑level management.
• Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations, management systems and compliance frameworks.
• Proven leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent analytical, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
