Shift Engineer

About the role

The Shift Engineer is responsible for maintaining the operational excellence of the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. Working across all hotel departments, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas remain safe, functional, and aligned with the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders from all departments promptly, following hotel SOPs.
• Maintain accurate sub‑meter, chemical‑treatment, and engine‑room logs.
• Respond quickly to maintenance calls from guests or other departments.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, plumbing, and air‑conditioning systems in guest rooms and public areas.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to provide information and assistance.
• Diagnose technical issues, implement repairs efficiently, and document actions in a daily shift logbook.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a maintenance engineer in a 5‑star luxury hotel environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems with minimal supervision.
