Show Operator Assistant Video - Theater Operations

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Show Operator Assistant Video to support the Theater Operations team. The role assists the Head of Lighting & Video in ensuring safe, high‑quality video production for rehearsals and performances.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Lighting & Video with supervising department staff, hiring and training new employees.
• Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping and documentation of required training.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and order supplies as needed.
• Support safe and consistent operation of all video systems during rehearsals and live shows.
• Operate show cues, video cue tracks and coordinate changes with the Resident Director.
• Monitor video systems, conduct inspections, and oversee maintenance schedules.
• Document installation specifications, equipment inventory and maintenance records.
• Ensure emergency procedures are known and practiced by all technical staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years experience as an Assistant Head of Video for large‑scale theatrical productions.
• Proven experience with modern theatrical video systems, including operation, installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to manage staff, work under pressure and handle logistics.
• Highly organized with excellent problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant OSHA/IOSH or equivalent safety qualifications.
