Site Architect – Buildings Experience

About the role

Lead and manage the design development of RTA infrastructure projects, including roads, interchanges, utilities, drainage, and structures, ensuring compliance with RTA standards and Dubai Authority regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver concept, preliminary, detailed and IFC designs while maintaining quality and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and approve design deliverables at all stages.
• Ensure designs meet RTA manuals, Dubai Authority (DM, DEWA, Etisalat, Du) and international standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities such as highways, traffic, structures, drainage, utilities, lighting, ITS and landscaping.
• Manage design interfaces to eliminate clashes and resolve conflicts.
• Respond to RTA design review comments and support authority submissions, NOCs and permits.
• Provide technical support during tender stage and assist construction teams with RFIs and design changes.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain document control according to the Design Management Plan.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of architectural experience in the UAE, with building project experience in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of local authority procedures, standards and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
