About the role
The Site Engineer will develop and implement the project programme on site, ensuring it is organized, cost‑effective and meets design and quality standards within the agreed timeframe.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain project drawings, assess material and manpower needs, and coordinate procurement with the Purchase Department.
- Monitor project progress against the plan, report discrepancies, and take corrective actions.
- Organise and manage the workforce, supervise the site, and keep management updated on progress and technical issues.
- Conduct quality checks with the QC Inspector to ensure works meet specifications.
- Coordinate site demobilisation on project completion and prepare related reports.
- Execute snag lists from consultants and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely, compliant completion.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–3 years experience in interior contracting or construction.
