Site Engineer - Projects

About the role

The Site Engineer supports the delivery of infrastructure and facilities projects in a large-scale, complex operational environment. The role covers site coordination, contractor supervision and project execution, ensuring projects meet approved schedules, budgets, quality standards and safety requirements. It works closely with the Project Manager, contractors and operational teams in a 24/7 setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering facilities and infrastructure projects and coordinate on-site activities with contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Monitor contractor performance against project plans, specifications and schedules, and support project execution plans and documentation.
• Track progress against schedule, budget and quality; prepare daily site reports and performance updates, and escalate risks or delays.
• Support close-out activities such as inspections, testing and handover.
• Ensure contractors comply with HSE requirements, coordinate permits to work, access and operational approvals, and conduct site inspections for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and operational teams, support stakeholder communication and contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management or Project Management.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience on facilities, infrastructure or engineering projects in large-scale, complex operational environments; experience in infrastructure, mixed-use developments or other operationally critical environments preferred.
