Site Fabrication Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Fabrication Manager to lead and oversee all construction site fabrication activities across major Oil & Gas EPC projects. The role involves managing site fabrication operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed site fabrication execution plans, sequences, and resource allocation strategies.
• Plan site fabrication facilities, work fronts, temporary workshops, equipment positioning, and material flow logistics.
• Lead all site fabrication activities including structural steel, piping, pipe support, skid and module assembly, equipment steelwork modifications, and temporary works fabrication.
• Monitor daily productivity, optimize manpower utilization, and ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings, codes, and specifications.
• Ensure quality compliance, coordinate inspections, manage non‑conformances, and maintain fabrication records.
• Champion health, safety and environmental standards, conduct safety inspections and investigations.
• Lead and develop fabrication supervisors, foremen, welders, fitters, riggers and subcontractors.
• Act as primary focal point for site fabrication matters, provide progress reports, and resolve technical issues with clients and consultants.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC construction.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large‑scale site fabrication.
• Experience on refinery, petrochemical, offshore, gas processing, LNG, pipeline or major industrial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of fabrication methodologies, welding processes and construction practices.
• Strong understanding of ASME Codes, API Standards, AWS Standards, ANSI Requirements and client specifications.
• Ability to interpret engineering, isometric and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with project management software, fabrication tracking systems and construction management tools.
