Site Inspector – Civil

About the role

We are looking for a Site Inspector – Civil to join KEO Group’s team on a major engineered landfill project in Al Ain, UAE. The role involves on‑site inspection of civil works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor.
• Verify civil works – earthworks, excavation, grading, engineered bunds, landfill base preparation, drainage and roadworks – against approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect geosynthetic lining systems, including GCL and HDPE geomembrane, and associated civil works.
• Identify non‑conforming work, document findings and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals for compliance.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, progress reports and photographic documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in civil construction inspection, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure or landfill projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, earthworks and geosynthetic lining systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce clear inspection reports.
