Site Project Management Officer (Fixed Term Contract)

About the role

The Site Project Management Officer will support Project Managers and the Group Planning & Project Management Department in delivering multiple infrastructure projects in Fujairah, UAE. The role focuses on reporting, cost control, governance and data management to ensure timely and accurate project information for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly progress reports, monthly flash reports and executive dashboards covering all active projects.
• Track project expenditures, cost variances, earned‑value metrics and maintain the financial control system.
• Maintain project documentation (charters, risk registers, RAID logs) in the Document Management System and ensure ISO‑9001 compliance.
• Consolidate data from multiple workstreams to produce portfolio‑level status reports and support board and steering‑committee presentations.
• Assist with change‑request processing, interface tracking and data cleansing activities in the PPMS and SharePoint.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering; preferably a PMO or project‑management certification (e.g., PMI‑PMOCP, PMP).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, planning or project controls, with at least 1 year in a PMO function, preferably in capital construction or port projects.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Microsoft Office 365 Suite with advanced Excel.
• Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Project Portfolio Management System (PPMS) and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 protocols and PMO governance.
