Site Safety, Health & Environment Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Advisor Safety, Health & Environment (Site) to develop, implement and maintain comprehensive safety, health and environmental programs across our Abu Dhabi site operations. The role works closely with management and staff to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to identify risks and non‑compliance.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures and protocols aligned with UAE regulations and ISO standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses, analyse root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, records and reports for regulatory compliance.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees at all levels.
• Audit safety management systems to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate on emergency response and disaster management plans.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in occupational health and safety advisory or management within industrial or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in risk assessment, hazard identification and incident investigation techniques.
• Experience developing and implementing safety management systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 or equivalent standards.
