Site Superintendent – Roads & Infrastructure (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Al Marwan Group is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the delivery of roads and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role focuses on managing wet utilities, pipelines, roadworks and ensuring compliance with authority requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site construction activities for roads, infrastructure, wet utilities and pipeline works.
• Coordinate daily operations, manpower, equipment, subcontractors and materials to meet project schedules.
• Monitor progress, report milestones and ensure timely completion.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants and subcontractors to maintain smooth execution.
• Oversee installation of water pipelines, sewer networks, drainage systems and utility corridors.
• Liaise with authorities such as SEWA, DEWA, EtihadWE and municipal bodies to obtain approvals.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements and resolve site challenges.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare regular progress reports.
• Lead, mentor and develop site teams, supervisors and foremen.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or equivalent on mid‑ to large‑scale UAE projects.
• Strong background in roads and infrastructure construction, wet utilities and pipeline installations.
• Proven experience coordinating with UAE authorities (SEWA, DEWA, EtihadWE).
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority regulations.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
