Site Technical Manager – Architecture

About the role

The Site Technical Manager – Architecture will lead the execution of architectural works on construction sites, ensuring that designs are implemented accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with local regulations. You will coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise architectural works on‑site, guaranteeing adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals before implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, structural, MEP, and project management teams to address technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Monitor quality control, conduct site inspections, and verify that finishes and materials meet project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers and contractors on design details and construction methods.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies, site clashes, and other technical issues.
• Review method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions related to architectural works.
• Support project management in schedule planning and progress tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (mandatory); Master’s in Architecture or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, with at least 5 years in site‑based architectural management.
• Experience in high‑rise, commercial, hospitality, or large‑scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and finishing standards.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and authority approvals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination.
• Deep understanding of architectural detailing and construction methodologies.
• Ability to manage technical coordination across multiple disciplines.
