Skilled Bits Welder – TIG/MIG, Hard Facing, Brazing

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Bits Welder to support bit manufacturing operations in Dubai, ensuring compliance with NOV quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG/MIG welding, hard facing, brazing and other metal welding processes according to technical drawings.
• Set up, align and adjust welding equipment, lift and secure workpieces safely, and obtain approval from senior operators before production.
• Execute manual grinding, hot‑work activities and operator‑level machine maintenance, and keep the workplace clean.
• Inspect welds using standard measuring instruments and follow quality and HSE procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology, Metal Fabrication or Welding Processes, or equivalent vocational training with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and schematics, and to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good understanding of shop practices, quality and HSE requirements, and effective communication in English.
