SOC Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst will join a fast‑moving team in Abu Dhabi, monitoring the organization’s network and systems for security incidents. This is a 1‑year fixed‑term position with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive monthly salary.

Key responsibilities

• Examine network topologies to understand data flow and identify potential risks.
• Use SOC tools, especially the SIEM console, to monitor, analyze and correlate events.
• Detect, report and respond to security incidents, including malicious activity and anomalies.
• Perform network mapping, OS fingerprinting and continuous threat hunting.
• Create and maintain SIEM rules, reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in a large‑scale ICT environment focused on information or cyber security.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or a quantitative field.
• CompTIA Security+ and EC‑Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications.
• Immediate availability or notice period of up to one month.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol and OSI Seven Layer Model.
• Knowledge of security best practices, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Windows and Unix‑based systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.
• Proficiency in defense‑in‑depth analysis, log monitoring, incident detection and response.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM consoles, IPS, antivirus, file‑integrity monitoring and DLP solutions.

What we offer

• Salary AED 15,000‑16,000 per month.
• Full‑time, onsite role in Abu Dhabi.
