Social Media Executive – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Motivate Media Group is seeking a creative and data‑driven Social Media Executive to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for creating and managing social‑first content that showcases Abu Dhabi’s vibrant lifestyle, dining, entertainment, travel and cultural scene.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule daily original content (Reels, Stories, carousels, posts) for Instagram and TikTok, including sponsored formats.
• Repurpose high‑performing web stories into social‑first assets to boost link clicks and engagement.
• Launch and manage editorial‑led social series such as weekend previews and “New This Week”.
• Produce, edit and publish event coverage, first looks, exclusives and trend‑led stories, collaborating with video producers and creatives.
• Own day‑to‑day community management, responding to comments and inbox messages promptly.
• Research social media benchmarks, monitor competitor activity and track emerging topics to inform content strategy.
• Analyse platform insights, compile weekly snapshots and detailed monthly performance reports.
• Visit restaurants, hotels, attractions and events across Abu Dhabi to capture real‑time on‑ground content.

Required profile

• Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within an agency or media organisation.
• Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi’s lifestyle, dining, entertainment and events landscape.
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills, comfortable creating content in real time.
• Proficiency in analysing social media metrics and producing performance reports.
