Social Media Executive

About the role

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort is looking for a creative Social Media Executive to lead its digital presence across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content that promotes the zoo’s attractions and enhances audience interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish daily posts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other channels following the content calendar.
• Collaborate with designers and videographers to obtain visual assets and craft compelling captions in English and Arabic.
• Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages and mentions, escalating sensitive issues to the sales team.
• Track performance metrics (likes, shares, reach, engagement) and deliver regular reports with insights and recommendations.
• Support the execution of paid and organic campaigns, influencer collaborations and user‑generated content initiatives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas, seasonal campaigns and innovative formats.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency.
• Strong writing skills with attention to tone and detail in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Meta Business Suite.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar design/video editing tools (optional).
