Social Media Executive

About the role

We are looking for a talented and highly organized Social Media Executive to join our dynamic marketing agency. The role will coordinate internal teams and implement effective social media and digital content strategies for government and public-sector accounts across multiple platforms. You will act as the main point of contact for assigned clients and ensure all communications respect UAE cultural and governmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and manage client relationships.
• Coordinate government and public-sector projects, ensuring content complies with protocols and sensitivities.
• Develop and execute social media strategies on Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
• Review, quality-check and approve copy, visuals and assets before publishing.
• Create campaign concepts, storyboards and scripts, and maintain content calendars.
• Monitor trends, platform updates and emerging digital opportunities.
• Analyse performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with creative, design, production, media and strategy teams.
• Support the preparation of bids, creative concepts and technical submissions for government and corporate tenders.
• Manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in social media, digital marketing or account management.
• Previous experience in a marketing agency, preferably handling UAE government or public-sector clients.
• Strong understanding of UAE culture, government communication protocols and regional digital landscape.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Copywriting, editing and storytelling.
• Proficiency with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Familiarity with social media management tools and digital marketing channels.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic.
