Social Media Executive (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Dubai Mall Online is the official digital platform of Dubai Mall, bringing its retail brands together in one online shopping destination. It is looking for a Social Media Executive to help build and scale this high-growth business from the ground up, working alongside well-known brands and shaping the future of omnichannel retail in the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and LinkedIn to grow the brand and community.
• Build and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, retailer launches and seasonal moments.
• Showcase retail brands through product features, short-form video, Reels, Stories and influencer collaborations.
• Coordinate with brand partners, the design team and creators to produce on-brand content.
• Manage day-to-day community engagement: respond to comments and DMs and escalate customer issues to the support team.
• Track and report on performance (reach, engagement, follower growth, click-throughs, conversions) and turn insights into better content.
• Support paid social campaigns with the performance marketing team.
• Monitor social trends, competitors and platform updates to keep content relevant to GCC audiences.
• Work with the wider marketing team to keep brand voice and messaging consistent across channels.

Required profile

• 1-2 years in social media, content creation or digital marketing (retail or e-commerce a plus).
• Excellent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Knowledge of the UAE/GCC consumer landscape.

Required skills

• Strong command of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
• Short-form video and editing skills.
• Experience with scheduling and analytics tools.
• Creative eye, strong brand voice, organised and data-driven.
