Software Craftsperson – TypeScript Engineer (Mid‑Level)

About the role

This is a remote, hands‑on software engineering position based in the United Arab Emirates. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of scalable, production‑grade systems while working with TypeScript and modern AI/LLM technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript.
• Build AI‑powered applications and agentic workflows with OpenAI, Claude and related frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate technical and product risks, ensuring production readiness.
• Mentor peers, contribute to engineering excellence, and promote responsible AI practices.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Strong system‑design skills, ownership mindset and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Experience with AI/LLM platforms, responsible AI principles, and modern engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, Agile/XP).

Required skills

• TypeScript, REST/gRPC APIs, relational databases.
• OpenAI, Claude, Mastra or similar LLM/agent orchestration frameworks.
• Chrome Extensions, React.js, Python (plus).
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
