Software Craftsperson – Typescript (Mid‑Level)

About the role

This remote position is for a hands‑on Software Craftsperson with 3–6 years of experience building scalable, production‑grade systems using TypeScript and modern AI/LLM technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex software initiatives end‑to‑end, from design and implementation through testing, production readiness and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript, adhering to strong software‑craftsmanship principles.
• Develop AI‑powered applications and workflows leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and agentic frameworks such as OpenAI, Claude, Mastra, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
• Identify technical and product risks beyond immediate scope and drive proactive solutions.
• Contribute to engineering excellence through testing, code quality, refactoring, tooling, DevEx and DORA‑oriented practices.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, set priorities and align technical work with outcomes.
• Mentor fellow engineers, share knowledge and foster a strong learning culture.
• Build and integrate browser‑based experiences, including Chrome extensions, when required.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript in production environments.
• Practical experience building AI‑ or LLM‑powered applications, including AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Solid system‑design skills for scalable, maintainable, observable services.
• Proficiency with Agile or Extreme Programming practices, TDD, CI/CD and code reviews.
• Excellent problem‑solving, ownership, communication and collaboration abilities.
