About the role

We are partnering with a leading financial services and technology organisation to expand its engineering team. The role focuses on building and enhancing a high‑performance trading platform used in sophisticated financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance C++ applications for trading or financial‑markets platforms.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, product specialists and other engineers to deliver low‑latency, high‑throughput components.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical and production issues, improving performance, stability and scalability.
• Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions, writing clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing software in C++.
• Good understanding of object‑oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building performance‑sensitive, concurrent or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Linux or other Unix‑based operating systems.
