Software Engineer – AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help train next‑generation AI systems that write code. You will build, evaluate, and improve AI‑generated software, providing expert feedback that makes coding assistants smarter, safer, and more reliable. The position is fully remote, flexible, and contract‑based.

Key responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimise code across multiple languages, frameworks, and problem domains.
• Review AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability and best practices.
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works—or doesn’t.
• Design challenging prompts and edge‑case scenarios to stress‑test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI‑generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously, setting your own schedule.

Required profile

• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
• Ability to read, write and reason about code with clarity and precision.
• Systematic debugging approach and solid problem‑solving instincts.
• Clear written communication skills for explaining technical decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
