Software Engineer Full Stack PHP and WordPress Developer

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer with strong full‑stack expertise in PHP, Laravel and WordPress to join our development team in Dubai. The candidate will design, build and maintain custom web solutions that support our industrial machinery manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch and adapt existing sites to business needs.
• Design, implement and maintain Laravel applications, including RESTful APIs and backend business logic.
• Create responsive front‑end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Vue.js, and integrate them with backend services.
• Manage MySQL databases, write migrations, optimise queries and handle backups and restores.
• Containerise applications with Docker, set up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and deploy to Microsoft Azure.
• Administer WHM/cPanel servers, configure domains, SSL certificates and email accounts.
• Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) AI solutions using Python and integrate Large Language Models into applications.
• Maintain code quality with Git version control, conduct code reviews and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and maintaining WordPress sites and custom plugins.
• Strong background in PHP and Laravel development, including API design.
• Hands‑on experience with front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Vue.js).
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimisation.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD workflows and cloud deployment on Azure.
• Experience with server administration (WHM/cPanel) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Knowledge of Python‑based AI/ML pipelines, especially Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.
