Software Engineer

About the role

Join Callsign as a Software Engineer working on secure digital identity solutions. You will translate business requirements into production‑ready code and support the planning process while collaborating with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Feature Development & Maintenance: Build new application features while optimizing and maintaining existing codebases.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Write clean, efficient code, review peers' pull requests and ensure services are properly monitored.
• Architecture & Design: Participate in research, system design and implement architectural decisions into production code.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose system bugs, analyse technical limitations, deploy fixes and take part in on‑call rotation.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, QA testers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver projects on time.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior developers and assist colleagues when technical hurdles arise.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals of software development and computer science.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of non‑relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure.
