Software Engineer – .NET Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in .NET technologies to join the ICT Department of United Al Saqer Group. The role involves designing, developing, testing and maintaining web‑based, desktop and API‑driven applications that support the Group’s diverse business units.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET.NET Core and related frameworks.
• Build web, desktop and micro‑service solutions based on functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with databases, third‑party services and internal APIs.
• Perform unit and integration testing, troubleshoot issues and implement performance tuning.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and code specifications.
• Manage source code repositories with Git or Azure DevOps and ensure proper versioning.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and QA teams in agile/scrum ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience developing applications with Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Familiarity with agile development processes and teamwork.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• ASP.NET.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC.
• RESTful API design and micro‑services architecture.
• Git and Azure DevOps for version control.
• Unit testing, integration testing and automated testing tools.
• Database integration (SQL databases).
