Software Quality Tester (SQA)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Quality Tester (SQA) to join Dicetek LLC in Sharjah. The role focuses on testing banking and financial services applications, especially e‑invoicing, tax and VAT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare test strategy, test scenarios, test cases, test data and traceability matrix.
• Execute functional, system integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing across invoice lifecycles.
• Perform API testing of source applications, middleware, tax/e‑invoicing platforms and downstream systems, validating requests, responses, authentication, headers and payload structures.
• Validate XML/JSON payloads against schemas, business rules and tax calculations, including VAT, exemptions and zero‑rated transactions.
• Support UAT preparation, test execution, defect triage and production‑readiness assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of software testing/QA experience, preferably in banking, financial services or capital markets.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing, system‑to‑system interface testing and test automation tools.
• ISTQB Foundation or CSTE certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Test management tools and test automation platforms.
• API testing using Postman, SoapUI or OpenAPI.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP methods, JSON and XML.
• SQL for backend validation and data reconciliation.
• Defect‑management tools such as ALM/Quality Center.
