Solutions Engineer – Cybersecurity & Cloud

About the role

Join Akamai's Presales Team in Dubai as a Solutions Engineer focused on cybersecurity and cloud solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping global enterprises design and implement secure, high‑performance internet architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technical pre‑sales process, creating opportunities by demonstrating how Akamai technology solves real business problems.
• Architect and deliver product demos, customer analysis reports, and proof‑of‑concept trials.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer executives to align initiatives with Akamai’s platform capabilities.

Required profile

• Customer‑facing experience in technical pre‑sales, consulting, or architect roles supporting enterprise accounts.
• Strong knowledge of internet architectures, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with WAF, DDoS protection, bot management, and Zero Trust/remote‑access architectures.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, able to explain complex technical concepts to both developers and C‑level executives.
